Noblis is dedicated to ethical practices and serving the public good through the work we do. We also take very seriously our duty to be an example in social responsibility and community engagement. We demonstrate our strong spirit of collaboration and commitment to serve the public by participating in or contributing to organizations that strengthen the communities in which we live and work. Each year, Noblis lends significant support to programs whose missions are to eliminate hunger and homelessness, promote education and learning and improve the lives of veterans.

Giving Tuesday 2024

In honor of #GivingTuesday Noblis employees showed up for service activities at our offices across the country from Dec. 2-14. Together we assembled 200 power packs and 200 hygiene kits for the Lorton Community Action Center, 150 power packs for Food for Others and 300 hygiene kits for Cornerstones. We collected food for the Mountaineer Foodbank, new toys for Toys for Tots, served meals with the Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen and built wheelchair ramps for The Texas Ramp Project. We also sorted toys and clothing and assisted children with their holiday toy selection with Support the Enlisted Project and we donated the most requested items to the House of Ruth Maryland.

Supporting Food for Others in Virginia

A group Noblis employees showed up to volunteer their time at a Food for Others donation and distribution center in Fairfax, Virginia. The team assisted in sorting bins and boxes of donated food items that will be given to individuals and families in need.

Feeding San Diego

Noblis employees and their families showed up to volunteer at the Feeding San Diego food bank. They help to pack several boxes that will provide food directly to families and individuals in need in their local community.

Pulling for a Cause

More than twenty members of Team Noblis pulled an 82-ton Federal Express plane 12 feet in 8.739 seconds at the Washington Dulles Airport. The Plane Pull event was a fundraiser for the Virginia Special Olympics. Noblis raised $6,467 for the organization and ranked 11th in fundraising out of 80 teams. The team came in 16th out of 45 teams.

Helping Provide School Supplies to Children in Need

Noblis employees in Philadelphia volunteered for the Cradles to Crayons annual Backpack-A-Thon® which provided backpacks and school supplies to more than 72,000 children across the tri-state region.

Igniting the Spark at the Capital Area Food Bank

Noblis employees and their families came out to #IgniteTheSpark and volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, DC. Our enthusiastic group of volunteers packed boxes that will be distributed to families in the DMV area.

Carrying Forward with the Wounded Warrior Project

Members of the Military and Veterans employee resource group and others across the company participated in the Wounded Warrior Project’s Virtual Carry Forward 5K. Team Noblis set a goal of raising $3,000 and exceeded that goal, raising $3,663 and completing 848 miles.

Giving Tuesday 2023: Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia

Noblis partnered with several charitable organizations for events on Giving Tuesday. Employees at our Virginia Beach office packed food for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Employees at our Reston and Chantilly, VA offices packed items for Food for Others for students in need of meals on the weekends. Employees from our Bridgeport, WV office packed food for local school pantries for The Pantry Plus More. And employees from our Woodlawn, MD office packed boxes of essential supplies for House of Ruth.

Giving Tuesday 2023: Philly and San Antonio

Noblis partnered with several charitable organizations for events on Giving Tuesday. Employees at our Philadelphia office put together foodpacks to be donated to Philabundance Food Bank. Employees at our San Diego office collected and packed items for the San Antonio Food Bank.

Connecting the Dots between Design and Technology

Noblis employees and members of the U.S. Navy met and hosted South Philadelphia High graphic design students at the Navy Yard near Philadelphia. The students learned how the military assists with college, tried our VR demos, met a data scientist and the Noblis marketing and communications team taught them about branding and design practices aligned to their career and technical education class.

Inspiring Students through Innovation and Technology

Noblis hosted 46 middle school students and five educators from Alexandria City Public Schools as part of the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus K-12 Initiative, which is committed to inspiring, motivating and preparing students for technology careers. The students joined Noblis employees on a walkthrough of our labs for activities and demos related to autonomous systems, life sciences, innovation momentum and forensics.

Inspiring Young Minds at a Robotics Camp

Noblis and Norfolk State University’s Director of Cyber Security hosted a two-day robotics camp for young scientists in partnership with Norfolk’s Berkley Community Center. Employees from our Hampton Roads, VA office worked with students ranging from 8 to 13 years old.

Encouraging STEM at South Philly High

Team Noblis and Sparky visit South Philadelphia High School and met students for their year end fair — called the Ram Fair after the school mascot. The team will also work with teachers to augment the STEM curriculum in the 2024 school year.
