Noblis ESI (Engineering Systems for Intelligence) brings high-quality systems engineering, advanced technology, program management and acquisition services to the federal government. As a prime contractor dedicated to enabling Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) mission success, Noblis ESI provides critical support and expert engineering and strategy services for advanced technology and intelligence systems development and acquisition.

About Noblis MSD 

Noblis MSD (Mission Solutions for Defense) provides leading-edge network design, systems integration, sustainment and modernization solutions and operational readiness for the U.S. Navy. As a system developer, Noblis MSD brings advanced engineering, enterprise transformation and program management solutions that improve operations, maintenance and modernization of equipment and systems throughout their entire life cycle. We identify and deploy new, secure shipboard and information technology systems and develop strategies that support the warfighter and advance the overall mission.

Noblis grew out of the belief that great ideas and collaboration driven by science and technology can solve the biggest challenges facing our government, our nation and the world.

1996

CEO Lydia Thomas led the company in becoming a stand-alone organization focused on using science and technology for the public good.

1998

Developed the FBI’s Universal Latent Workstation.

Began telecom work with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to help acquire its Telecommunications Infrastructure.

2001

Opened our headquarters in Falls Church, Va.

Deployed the first public key infrastructure certificate authority.

2004

Deployed Risk and Safety Management Alert System (RASMAS) for healthcare recalls.

2006

Public key infrastructure certificate authority bridge is added to commercial trust stores.

2007

Amr ElSawy appointed CEO.

2010

Opened the Noblis Innovation and Collaboration Center, a state-of-the-art facility for our technology and research labs.

2011

Selected by the FAA to transform the National Airspace to a NextGen system on the Enterprise Communications Support Services program.

Deployed BioID platform, a web-based analysis and collaboration tool for data on infectious diseases.

2012

Opened the Noblis Center for Applied High Performance Computing with a CRAY XMT Supercomputer.

Acquired Elantech Systems, Inc. (now Noblis ESI).

2014

Acquired National Security Partners.

2016

Celebrated 20 years of excellence and innovation.

Moved headquarters to Reston, Va.

2017

Deployed computer vision to aid the rescue of crime victims.

RASMAS health recall system is divested as a successful nationwide public service.

2018

Selected by the Dept. of Homeland Security to develop advanced algorithm prototypes that increase detection of concealed objects.

Noblis mathematician factors RSA-230 breakthrough from renowned cryptography challenge.

2019

Awarded patent for a bioinformatic analysis and genome sequencing system.

2021

Acquired McKean Defense (now Noblis MSD).

Deployed a 5G network to test and evaluate advanced communications.

2022

Mile Corrigan appointed CEO.

Awarded patent for method to improve AI recognition of low-quality images.

Awarded patent for cooperative and orchestrated autonomy blockchain solution.

Deployed Noblis OptiSource™ combat ship maintenance system.

Invented a synthetic culture of a sustainable food source.

2023

Launched Noblis Ventures and invested in SCOUT Space.
