Noblis in the Community

Noblis is a unique, nonprofit company dedicated to ethical practices and serving the public good through the work we do. We also take very seriously our duty to be an example in social responsibility. We demonstrate our strong spirit of collaboration and commitment to serve the public by participating in or contributing to organizations that strengthen the communities in which we live and work. Each year, Noblis lends significant support to programs whose missions are to eliminate hunger and homelessness, promote education and learning, and improve the lives of veterans.

Serving Our Local CommunityBeginning in November, Noblis runs the Season of Giving campaign which provides multiple ways for employees to give back to their local communities. As part of this campaign, employees from our Reston office volunteered alongside their colleagues, family and friends at the Capital Area Food Bank’s Community Market.
Supporting Students on the Path to Careers in CybersecurityNoblis donated $5,000 to the Navy JROTC “Cyber Team” at George Washington High School in Danville, VA. These students are part of the Cyber Patriot program -- a national youth cyber education program created to help direct students toward careers in cybersecurity or other STEM disciplines.
Supporting Operation HomefrontNoblis staff packed over 1,000 backpacks with school supplies to benefit Operation Homefront’s Back to School Brigade, a program that distributes backpacks to military children.
Noblis Hosts Girls Rock in Technology for Tour of Labs and Tech FacilitiesA group of local students enjoyed a tour of Noblis' VA HQ as well as a panel discussion with employees who shared the variety and possibility for careers in technology related fields.
PATRIOTLink, Cloud-based Platform for Veteran SupportNoblis staff worked with the Code of Support Foundation (COSF) and their veteran case coordinators to develop a cloud-based navigation platform called PATRIOTLink, which strategically populates veteran support resources. During our 2017 Internship Program, we held a hackathon challenge where the interns helped to develop the PATRIOTlink mobile application.
Danville Education Initiatives Noblis partnered with Danville Public Schools on The Passport Project, a rigorous Academic and Career Plan. We are also helping to shape the curriculum for the Danville Community College Advanced Center for IT/Software Applications.
