Noblis Awarded Contract to Support U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Volpe Center

Noblis will provide support for Traffic Management Systems Engineering and Development Support (TMSEDS) Contract

RESTON, Va.—April 30, 2017—Noblis, Inc., a leading provider of science, technology, and strategy services to the federal government, is pleased to announce a $200 million award from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to provide program and technical support to the Volpe Center, a federal fee-for-service organization within the Department’s Office of Research and Technology. The five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, competitively awarded to five companies, runs through 2022.

Noblis will play an integral part in supporting the Volpe Center in delivering cutting-edge capabilities and expertise targeted to the Volpe Center’s programmatic TMSEDS requirements, which encompasses a broad spectrum of federal agencies in the transportation sector.

Noblis’ physical science, technology, and engineering expertise will be leveraged to support the design, development, testing, and operation of traffic management systems, in alignment with USDOT program initiatives. Noblis will also provide program management expertise, to help ensure these programs are carried out effectively, and cost-efficiently.
