FALLS CHURCH, Va.—June 9, 2016—Noblis, Inc., a leading provider of science, technology, and strategy services, was awarded a contract for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Program and Project Management Support (PPMS). Noblis has provided wide-ranging support to the agency since 2012, and this recent award allows Noblis to continue facilitating effective planning, control, and monitoring of mission critical projects that ensure achievement of program outcomes.
Noblis’ program management and system engineering expertise will support CMS’ need to successfully meet the agency’s transformation agenda set by legislative mandates such as: 1) Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA); 2) the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 3) the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 including the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Heath (HITECH) Act; and 5) the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) of 2003.
“This is an important win for Noblis,” said Don Schaefer, VP of Noblis’ Enterprise Engineering, Environment, and Health Solutions mission area. “It has been rewarding to work side by side with CMS on such mission critical transformations as the implementation of HITECH, Healthcare.gov, and most recently the long and successful transition to ICD-10.”
“We are proud of the accomplishment that this win represents,” said Liz Avila, Noblis Health and Human Services account leader. “Together with CMS we will continue to successfully set and implement the program and project management standards for how CMS will approach complex implementations in the future. We look forward to continuing this partnership with CMS as they push the pace of change and the boundaries of innovation.”
