Noblis Awarded $495 Million Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense Support Contract

Noblis to provide the OMNIBUS Program and Engineering Technical Support (OPETS) with technical advisory and acquisition services

FALLS CHURCH, Va.— May 2, 2013—Noblis, Inc., a leading provider of science, technology, and strategy services to the federal government, announced today that they have been awarded a Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) OPETS indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) base contract. The Joint Program Executive Office is the single focal point for research, development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of chemical and biological defense equipment and medical countermeasures. Under this IDIQ contract, Noblis will serve as a prime contractor in the information technology and medical domains and as a subcontractor in the acquisitions and business and analytical domains. The cumulative value of the JPEO-CBD OPETS effort is $495 million.
